Good Food & Gear Found Here! Originally started in 2004 to cater to the local fish charter industry, Bob's has grown into an iconic destination for locals and visitors alike because of our world famous fish & chips.
Plus, Bob's has everything you need to make your saltwater fishing experience a lifetime memory: stock up on coffee, sandwiches, bait, hooks, lures and ice for your trip.
Acquired by the Gitmaxmak'ay Group of Companies in 2021, Bob's has since grown even more with the installation of brand new waterfront deck seating, an upgraded food truck and kiosk, and just newly acquired ice cream trailer. You'll still find the same great customer service, recipes, and waterfront views while you enjoy a meal at Rushbrook Floats.

Bob's on the Rocks is proud to be owned and operated by a Prince Rupert-based non-profit organization. Being part of a community-owned business means being a community-minded neighbour.
Our mission is to create local jobs and revenues. We see ourselves as a customer service company who just so happens to be in the fish & chips business. We are committed to enhancing the wellbeing of our customers and team members, being responsible stewards for our local ecosystem, and impacting positive change in our community.

As a part of the Gitmaxmak'ay Group of Companies, all profits that are not re-invested in growing the business go towards language and culture revitalization initiatives for the 1400+ Nisga'a citizens living in Prince Rupert and Port Edward, away from their traditional territory in the Nass Valley.
